Prof. ZHANG XIANGWEI, D.Eng.Group COO & Executive Director

Professor ZHANG Xiangwei joined KEPEI in Nov.2010. He is a senior expert in the field of education in China and a distinguished scholar who enjoys the Special Government Allowance of the State Council. He holds a D.Eng. from the University of Tokyo, Japan, and he has served as President of Guangdong University of Technology, President of Shantou University, and President of Guangdong Technology College. During his tenure, he led the school's upgrade to become an undergraduate college, formulated its vision and strategic objectives, and made outstanding contributions to the development of the Group and Guangdong Technology College . Currently, as the Group's Chief Operating Officer, he is fully responsible for education quality management.
