China KEPEI Education Group and JD Group Join Hands to Chart a New Blueprint for Talent Development

On October 24, a significant cooperation signing ceremony between Huaibei Institute of Technology, a member institution of China KEPEI Education Group, and JD Group was grandly held at JD's headquarters. The event was attended by a delegation led by Jiang Xi, Deputy Secretary of the Huaibei Municipal Committee and Mayor of Huaibei. Representatives from China KEPEI Education Group included Mr. Ye Nianqiao, Chairman of the Group; Ms. Li Yan, Chief Executive Officer of the Group; and Mr. Yang Bing, President of Huaibei Institute of Technology. They were warmly received by senior executives from JD Group, including Mr. Wang Peinuan, Senior Vice President; Mr. Li Yongming, Vice President; and Mr. Chen Pengcheng, Vice President. This collaboration marks another crucial step taken by China KEPEI Education Group to advance educational and teaching reform and innovate its talent cultivation model.

This cooperation breaks through the limitations of traditional university-enterprise partnerships, establishing a tripartite collaborative mechanism involving "government guidance, enterprise participation, and university implementation." Prior to the signing ceremony, the distinguished guests visited the exhibition hall at JD's headquarters, gaining an in-depth understanding of JD's corporate culture, industrial layout, and innovative achievements.

In his address, Mr. Ye Nianqiao, Chairman of China KEPEI Education Group, reviewed the foundation of prior cooperation with JD and expressed strong confidence in the co-building of the industry college. He emphasized that this collaboration is a significant milestone in deepening mutual trust and jointly cultivating talent, which will build an efficient bridge between higher education institutions and enterprises. Chairman Ye further stated his hope that, starting with Huaibei Institute of Technology, the cooperation would gradually expand to involve more member institutions of the Group, exploring new pathways for industry-education integration that meet the demands of the times across broader and deeper levels.

Mayor Jiang Xi of Huaibei highly commended JD's industrial strength and the educational achievements of Huaibei Institute of Technology. He stressed that this cooperation presents a vital opportunity for tripartite synergy among the government, enterprise, and university, which will inject new momentum into the high-quality development of the local region.

Mr. Li Yongming, Vice President of JD Group, expressed high expectations for the partnership: "JD Group attaches great importance to the strategic cooperation with China KEPEI Education Group. We will fully support the construction of the industry college and jointly cultivate the high-quality talents urgently needed in the era of digital economy."

Amidst all witnesses, President Yang Bing of Huaibei Institute of Technology and Mr. George, representative of JD Group, formally signed the industry college cooperation agreement. The three parties also reached multiple consensuses on talent cultivation, curriculum development, and the construction of practical training bases.

Later the same afternoon, China KEPEI Education Group and JD Group continued their discussions at a university-enterprise cooperation symposium. Senior executives from JD Group, including Senior Vice President Wang Peinuan and Vice President Chen Pengcheng, held in-depth exchanges with the delegation from China KEPEI Education Group, comprising Chairman Ye Nianqiao, CEO Li Yan, and President Yang Bing of Huaibei Institute of Technology.

Vice President Chen Pengcheng elaborated on JD's model for university-enterprise cooperation, characterized by "joint construction of bases - collaborative research on projects - co-cultivation of talents." He also outlined the talent demands for emerging positions such as Robotics Maintenance Engineers and AI Cooking Robot Operators. He stated that JD would focus on supporting the construction of the industry college at Huaibei Institute of Technology and the "JD Rising Star" management trainee program, assisting the institution in precisely cultivating talents needed by the industry.

Chairman Ye Nianqiao systematically outlined the educational scale and strategic layout of China KEPEI Education Group. The Group currently comprises five institutions: Guangdong Technology College, Harbin Institute of Petroleum, Huaibei Institute of Technology, Ma'anshan College, and Zhaoqing Science and Technology Secondary Vocational School, forming a dual-track structure that integrates higher education and secondary vocational education. Chairman Ye emphasized that the Group would seize this cooperation opportunity to fully promote in-depth collaboration between its member institutions and JD Group in areas such as the construction of practical training bases and the cultivation and supply of talents, effectively addressing student employment and supplying high-quality application-oriented talents to enterprises.

President Yang Bing introduced Huaibei Institute of Technology's program offerings and its cultivation model focused on "simultaneous enhancement of quality and capability." He expressed the institution's commitment to actively align with JD's needs, conduct targeted training for positions like Robotics Maintenance Engineers, and strengthen students' practical and innovative abilities.

Leveraging its rich educational resources and comprehensive education system, China KEPEI Education Group provides a solid foundation for this cooperation. Other member institutions, including Guangdong Technology College, Harbin Institute of Petroleum, and Ma'anshan College, will draw upon the experience from this collaboration to continuously advance innovation in industry-education integration.
