China KEPEI Education Group Collaborates with JD Group to Advance "Education + Industry" Dual-Track Talent Development

On December 4th, representatives from JD Group, including the Head of its University-Enterprise Cooperation Department, the Project Expansion Head of the same department, and the Industry-Education Integration Head from the Government and Enterprise Business Division, conducted a field visit to Guangdong Polytechnic College and Zhaoqing Science and Technology Secondary Vocational School, both under the China KEPEI Education Group. They held discussions with Chairman Ye Nianqiao and other leaders of the KEPEI Group on deepening university-enterprise cooperation and promoting industry-education integration. This exchange marks a substantive step forward in the collaborative development of vocational education and industry between the two parties, jointly committed to building a new, student-centered and employment-oriented educational ecosystem.

During the talks, the Head of JD Group's University-Enterprise Cooperation Department highly commended the KEPEI Group's achievements in education. He stated that the leadership of KEPEI Group is modest, pragmatic, and passionate about education. He noted that the layout of its schools is strategic with promising development prospects, and the vibrant energy displayed by both students and faculty is impressive. JD Group expressed full confidence, anticipation, and deep satisfaction in partnering with such a capable and visionary education group.

Chairman Ye Nianqiao provided a detailed introduction to the development history and strategic plans of the KEPEI Group, particularly sharing its forward-looking initiatives in international expansion. These include establishing a university in Dubai, building a talent training base in Bangladesh, and supplying skilled professionals to Saudi Arabia. He pointed out that KEPEI's exploration in the internationalization of vocational education aligns well with JD Group's global development philosophy. 1. Targeted Cultivation of High-Quality Technical and Skilled Talents, Empowering Students for High-Quality Employment

In response to the significant future talent demand in emerging fields such as smart homes, service robots, and intelligent catering, JD Group looks forward to engaging in deep targeted training cooperation with the KEPEI Group. Starting with high-demand positions like "Robot Maintenance Engineers," they will jointly design curriculum systems and co-build practical training bases. This involves integrating real industrial projects and technical standards throughout the teaching process to enhance students' skills and career development. The aim is to achieve a seamless transition where "enrollment equates to recruitment and graduation equates to employment," thereby effectively improving students' employability and the quality of their jobs.

2. Co-establishing an Intelligent Centralized Procurement Platform to Serve a Better Campus Life for Teachers and Students

Leveraging its supply chain strengths, JD Group will provide quality resources and specialized support to institutions under the KEPEI Group. This includes setting up an efficient, transparent, and teacher-benefiting centralized procurement platform covering teaching equipment, daily necessities, learning resources, and more. The goal is to help improve the quality and efficiency of campus services, enabling teachers and students to enjoy high-quality, low-cost campus life services, thereby further fostering an excellent educational environment.

3. Jointly Promoting International Talent Cultivation and Broadening Student Development Pathways

Both parties will jointly explore new models for cultivating international talent. By combining KEPEI's overseas footprint with JD Group's global business network, they will carry out projects such as cross-border internships, overseas employment, and skills exchange. JD Group will establish a dedicated working group to thoroughly understand and address the needs of the KEPEI Group and its institutions, ensuring the effective implementation of cooperative projects.
