On December 5th, a deep intercollegiate exchange took place between Guangdong Technology College and Harbin Institute of Petroleum, both under China KEPEI Education Group. This event further continued and deepened the interactive tradition of "south-north exchanges, enduring cold and heat" between the two institutions. Held at Harbin Institute of Petroleum, the exchange marked a solid step forward in the collaborative development of the two sister universities under the unified framework of the KEPEI Group.

Guangdong Technology College sent a six-member delegation consisting of deans from its School of Marxism, School of Foreign Languages, and School of Construction, covering multiple disciplines in arts and sciences. The exchange was attended by the Group's Human Resources Director, Wang Yining, President of Harbin Institute of Petroleum, Vice President Kang Pingjun, and relevant school deans. During the discussion, President Wang Yining stated that despite their geographical separation and climatic differences, the two universities share the same fundamental mission of fostering virtue and cultivating talent. She further introduced the institute's recent work focused on three core tasks: provincial-level Party building model creation, audit evaluation, and master's degree program establishment. She emphasized efforts to cultivate high-quality talent meeting industry demands through management system reforms, actively build educational and teaching brands, and continuously strengthen the foundation for master's program development.

Zhao Yuhong, Dean of the School of Marxism at Guangdong Technology College, expressed during the exchange that the visit focused on "solving practical problems and seeking answers through dialogue," reflecting that the interaction between the two institutions has shifted from general exchanges to targeted alignment and substantive cooperation. Subsequently, representatives from both sides engaged in targeted discussions grouped by school: the School of Marxism, the School of Foreign Languages, and the School of Human Settlements and Environment (School of Construction).

Furthermore, the delegation from Guangdong Technology College conducted field visits to several characteristic teaching and practice bases at Harbin Institute of Petroleum. These included the JD Low-Altitude Logistics Modern Industry College, the Cross-Border Digital Commerce Modern Industry College, the Iron Man Spirit Education Hall, and the Innovation and Entrepreneurship College. The construction and development of these bases fully demonstrate the solid achievements made by the institute in deepening industry-education integration and promoting innovation and entrepreneurship education under the guidance and resource empowerment of the KEPEI Group.

As sister institutions under the KEPEI Group, Guangdong Technology College and Harbin Institute of Petroleum possess unique advantages in resource sharing, curriculum co-development, and collaborative practice base construction, leveraging the platform and mechanisms established by the Group. The Group will continue to support multi-level and substantive interactions between the two universities, encouraging mutual learning and collaborative development while maintaining their respective educational characteristics, jointly injecting vitality into the cause of higher education.
