China KEPEI Education Group Supports Eurasian Youth Economic Forum, Drawing Development Blueprint with Youth from 117 Countries Worldwide

From April 20 to 23, 2026, the 16th Eurasian Youth Economic Forum was successfully held in Yekaterinburg, Russia. Under the overall arrangement of the internationalization strategy of China KEPEI Education Group, Tong Yu, Director of the Group’s Overseas Business Department and Vice President of Harbin Petroleum Institute, led a core delegation of member institutions. With Harbin Petroleum Institute as a key co-organizer, the delegation deeply participated in this grand gathering that brought together more than 22,000 youth leaders from 117 countries across the globe. This fully demonstrates the Group’s capability to integrate internal resources, systematically promote member institutions to participate in international affairs through a collaborative co-construction model, and comprehensively expand the global education cooperation network.


The delegation members included Zhu Yu, Vice President of Ma’anshan University; Xie Xiande, Dean of the School of International Education, Huaibei Institute of Technology; Zhao Jing, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Petroleum and Chemical Engineering, Harbin Petroleum Institute; Wu Dongshuang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the School of Intelligent Engineering; and Zhao Hongwei, Person in Charge of Sino-Russian Cooperation at the School of International Education, Harbin Petroleum Institute.


01 Leading Thematic Dialogues and Contributing Intelligent Solutions


With the theme of Eurasian Synergy: Ethnic Unity in an Era of Global Change, the forum saw the delegation, composed of representatives from Harbin Petroleum Institute, Ma’anshan University, Huaibei Institute of Technology and other member institutions under the Group’s overall coordination, take an in-depth part in the core agenda. The team actively shared experience and put forward initiatives in discussions on cutting-edge topics such as Energy Transition and Regional Sustainable Development, Youth Opportunities in the AI Era and Innovative Models of Cross-Border Higher Education Cooperation, and conducted fruitful high-level dialogues with representatives from various countries, winning wide recognition from the organizers and participants.

In the special session of Equal Dialogue, the delegation held in-depth discussions with representatives from all countries on cutting-edge topics including International Education Cooperation and Youth Leadership Development, effectively expanding the global cooperation networks of the institutions. Preliminary consensus was reached with university representatives from Kazakhstan, India, Sri Lanka and other countries on expanding cooperation areas and promoting faculty and student exchanges.


02 Deepening Strategic Cooperation and Expanding Academic Networks


During the forum, coordinated by the Group’s Overseas Business Department, the delegation visited Ural State University of Economics in Russia. The two sides reviewed the existing cooperation with member institutions and reached intentions to deepen cooperation on joint research center construction, joint master’s training, cultural and study weeks, and other specific matters. This visit opened a new platform for the Group’s affiliated institutions to carry out scientific research cooperation with Russia in energy economy, digital trade and other fields.


03 Students Winning International Awards, Highlighting Educational Achievements


In the highly competitive English Essay International Competition of the Eurasian Youth Economic Forum, Wang Zhe, a student majoring in New Energy Science and Engineering (Grade 2023) at Harbin Petroleum Institute, stood out from the participants, winning the first prize with a generous bonus and an invitation to receive the award in Russia in person. This achievement is not only a fruit of the university’s international talent training, but also a vivid reflection of China KEPEI Education Group’s commitment to cultivating outstanding talents with an international vision.


04 From Participant to Co-Builder, Ushering in a New Stage of Internationalized Education


In recent years, China KEPEI Education Group has vigorously promoted internationalized education, established stable cooperative relations with more than 40 universities in Russia, and built an all-round education system covering joint training and academic exchanges. Relying on high-end international forums and cultural exchange platforms, the Group has continuously linked students with top global educational resources.

The in-depth participation and co-organization of this top international forum in a Group collaborative mode represents an important practice for China KEPEI Education Group to upgrade international exchanges and cooperation. In the future, the Group will continue to give play to its advantages in resource integration and overall coordination, promote more member institutions to deeply integrate into global education cooperation, actively build a higher education cooperation network with countries jointly building the Belt and Road, and contribute to cultivating outstanding talents with a global vision.
