To thoroughly implement the industry-academia integration strategy and transform cutting-edge industrial resources into educational advantages, from June 16 to 17, a delegation led by Li Yan, CEO of China KEPEI Education Group, alongside consultants Wei Lijian and Chen Xuefeng, visited Guangzhou and Shantou. The delegation included Liu Xiangping, Vice President of Guangdong Polytechnic College; Li Xiangping, Director of the Employment Guidance Center; Yang Bin, Dean of the School of Intelligent Manufacturing; and Lin Xianning, Dean of the School of Information Technology.
The team conducted intensive visits to Baidu PaddlePaddle, ByteDance, and their ecological partners. The aim was to establish a complete chain linking "industrial demand—talent cultivation—employment delivery," further upgrading the training of application-oriented AI talents.
During the visit, the delegation first arrived at the Baidu PaddlePaddle (Guangzhou) AI Industry Empowerment Center, conducting an in-depth study of the technical foundation and empowerment achievements of this top-tier domestic deep learning platform. Both parties held deep discussions on co-building AI majors, creating practical training bases, and faculty development, establishing a collaborative mechanism from technology R&D to talent delivery.

The following day, the delegation visited Handa Factory in Chenghai District, where they witnessed the large-scale application of Baidu’s AI vision technology in industrial inspection and intelligent sorting lines. Substantial consensus was reached on the targeted cultivation of industrial AI professionals and the development of hands-on training projects, achieving "zero distance" between teaching scenarios and real-world industrial production.

Subsequently, the delegation visited ByteDance and its Volcano Engine ecosystem enterprises, focusing on the digital economy and content creation tracks. By examining the full AI-driven workflow of short video production, both sides clarified paths for co-developing curricula and building internship and employment bases in fields such as digital media and new media technology, accurately addressing the talent needs of the digital economy industry.

This cross-city initiative marks a solid step forward for China KEPEI Education Group in empowering the high-quality development of its affiliated institutions. Moving forward, Guangdong Polytechnic College, supported by the Group, will continue to deepen strategic cooperation with leading enterprises. By leveraging high-quality industry-academia integration, the college aims to empower high-quality graduate employment and supply the regional digital economy and advanced manufacturing industries with highly skilled AI technical talents who are "ready to work and willing to stay."
