On June 23, a delegation led by Le Duc Son, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Dao Thi Thu Giang, Rector of Da Nang University of Vietnam, visited the Gaoyao Campus of Guangdong Polytechnic College under China KEPEI Education Group. The two sides held an in-depth cooperation forum and officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Educational Cooperation, marking that the cooperation between the two universities in international school-running and industry-education integration has entered a substantive stage. Li Yan, Chief Executive Officer of China KEPEI Education Group, Chen Xiaoyang, President of Guangdong Polytechnic College, and other leaders attended the event.

On-Site Inspection: Focus on Application-Oriented School Running
The delegation visited core teaching and training facilities of Guangdong Polytechnic College, including the five-axis machining center, Huawei ICT Industry College, new energy transportation laboratory, and network and data center. They conducted an on-site inspection of the college’s teaching hardware, practical training teaching system and achievements in industry-education integration, and spoke highly of its school-running model closely aligned with industrial demands.


In-Depth Forum: Jointly Draw the Blueprint for China-Vietnam Educational Cooperation
Subsequently, an in-depth exchange forum was held. CEO Li Yan delivered a welcome speech and extended sincere greetings to the visiting delegation from Da Nang University of Vietnam. President Chen Xiaoyang gave a comprehensive introduction to the college’s school-running history, discipline layout, faculty development, talent training characteristics and international development plans. He elaborated on the college’s accumulated experience and achievements in industry-education integration in advantageous disciplines such as intelligent manufacturing, information technology and new energy, and expressed the willingness to carry out pragmatic cooperation with Da Nang University of Vietnam.


Chairman Le Duc Son and Rector Dao Thi Thu Giang respectively introduced the group school-running overview and discipline system construction of Da Nang University of Vietnam, as well as the cooperation intentions of this visit. They proposed to build a long-term cooperation mechanism relying on the complementary disciplinary strengths of the two universities in fields including teacher and student exchange visits, joint specialty development, academic research collaboration and joint training of application-oriented talents, so as to jointly serve the industrial development and talent training needs of the region.


Faculty Matching: Precisely Align Disciplinary Demands
To ensure the implementation of cooperation, person-in-charges of corresponding faculties from both sides held one-on-one special seminars. They conducted thorough discussions on specific cooperation directions such as discipline matching, joint curriculum development, sharing of practical training resources and exchange of teachers, exchanged views fully and reached a number of preliminary consensuses.

This signing marks a new starting point for win-win cooperation between the two parties. In the future, relying on the overall resources of China KEPEI Education Group, Guangdong Polytechnic College will further expand its layout of international school-running. Taking this cooperation as an opportunity, it will refine and implement cooperation plans, jointly build a model of pragmatic higher education cooperation between China and Vietnam, and facilitate people-to-people and cultural exchanges between China and foreign countries as well as coordinated industrial development of the region.
