I. School Profile

Established in 1995 and located in the scenic and historic Duanzhou District, Zhaoqing Technology Secondary Vocational School is a Provincial-Level Key Secondary Vocational School in Guangdong Province. Guided by the educational philosophy of "Fostering Virtue and Serving the Nation with Skills," the school is dedicated to building a modern vocational education system that integrates further education with skills development.

As a member of China KEPEI Education Group, the school shares high-quality educational resources with sister institutions, including Guangdong Technology College, Harbin Institute of Petroleum , Huaibei Institute of Technology, and Ma'anshan University, creating a seamless pathway from secondary vocational education to higher education. Currently, the school hosts over 11,000 students and has cultivated nearly 100,000 high-quality skilled talents for society. The employment rate for graduates has long remained above 98%, making them highly sought after by employers.

The school closely aligns with regional industrial development needs, offering 18 specialized programs in fields such as Intelligent Manufacturing, Finance & Business, Transportation, and Arts. We have established deep collaborative partnerships with over 200 enterprises, including Fenghua High-tech and Jiali Auto Lamp, jointly building more than 70 off-campus training bases. Among these, the Electromechanical Technology Application program has been selected for the Guangdong Provincial "Double Precision" Demonstration Program Construction Project, providing strong talent support for the high-quality development of the regional manufacturing industry.

II. Achievements

The school has achieved remarkable results in education and teaching:

· Breakthrough performances in the Guangdong Provincial "3+Certificate" Vocational College Entrance Examination, with a 2025 tertiary education admission rate of over 90% and 158 students qualifying for undergraduate programs.

· Cultivated students who achieved perfect scores (150/150) in Mathematics in the provincial examination for two consecutive sessions.

· The teaching faculty won 21 awards in municipal and provincial teaching competitions in 2024.

· Hosts over 30 corporate recruitment fairs annually, providing graduates with an average of more than 5 job opportunities each.

III. Development History

· July 1995: Founded as Zhaoqing Technology Training School.

· July 1997: Expanded in scale, establishing two teaching locations.

· April 2000: Obtained secondary vocational education qualifications and renamed Zhaoqing Technology School.

· June 2005: Renamed Zhaoqing Technology Secondary Vocational School.

· February 2010: Assessed as a Provincial-Level Key Secondary Vocational School in Guangdong.

· September 2024: Designated as one of Zhaoqing's first pilot Comprehensive High Schools, focusing on the dual development path of "High-Quality Employment and Quality Further Education."
